A Family Social Event!
Many families of gender nonconforming children wonder if their child or family are the "only ones" going through the process of recognizing, accepting and supporting the unique needs of a child or youth who does not experience or express their gender identity in ways that conform to social expectations or stereotypes.
Well... the answer is NO, they aren't. FreeZone provides an opportunity parents, caregivers and most importantly, kids to meet each other and do something fun!
It's a great opportunity not only for parents and gender nonconforming kids to meet others, but for the siblings of these kids to meet and know they are not alone in having a transgender or gender nonconforming brother or sister.
All families, caregivers and friends of gender nonconforming and transgender children and youth under the age of 18 are welcome to attend... we hope to see you, at the next FreeZone!
