As an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to providing low-cost/sliding scale fee services to those in need, TransActive depends on a variety of sources for our operating and program development income:
- Training Fees
- Speaking Fees
- Client Services Fees, and
- Grant Funding
None of these sources are as important to our work
as
the individual
gifts and financial support we receive from
STAR 100 TransActive Champions and donors like you.
STAR 100 donors commit to a monthly gift of $25.00 or more, making the following efforts and achievements by TransActive staff and volunteers possible...

- Served 135 children and 219 supportive family members through counseling, advocacy, targeted education and case management services
- Presented to more than 80 social service agencies, schools, health centers, and other organizations
- Reached over 2,200 individual service providers, educators, administrators, case workers and others
- Provided training to schools for implementation of the (mandated, but unfunded) Oregon Safe Schools Act
- Established collaborative relationships with major medical centers to provide endocrine management of the pubertal needs of transgender adolescents and young adults
