TransActive opened its Client Services program in September of 2010, providing low-cost, sliding scale fee counseling and case management services to gender non-conforming and transgender children, youth and family members. At present, our Client Services program serves more than 70 families in the Portland metro area alone and that number continues to grow, as does our ability to reach beyond Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
STAR 100 donations support monthly facilitated peer support (Family Support Group, Youth Trans Group) and all-ages social events for families (FreeZone).
TransActive offers a wide range of gender identity/gender expression focused, sliding-scale fee based educational services through our "Supporting Trans Affirmation & Respect" (STAR) training program.
